DIY| Flower in a Heart Card

Let’s make a flower in two versions — one in the form of a heart, and the second in the form of a tulip

How to Make a Flower in a Heart Card

Flower in a Heart Card Supplies:

  • red construction paper
  • white paper
  • green paper or green marker
  • scissors
  • glue

Flower in a Heart Card Step by Step:

Make a heart template – take a square sheet of paper and fold it in half. Draw half the heart shape next to the fold and cut it out, so you get the whole symmetric heart shape once you unfold it.

Trace the big heart stencil on construction paper. Cut out the heart shape from construction paper.

Make a smaller heart than your first one. Glue in the white heart (the smaller heart from the template) inside the construction paper heart.

Making a small pop-up heart . To do this, cut out 6 parts of a small heart.

We fold each heart in half.

Begin to glue the detail of hearts.

By analogy we make a tulip

Draw and cut the leaves. Also cut stem.

Glue the stem inside the inner heart, on the bottom at the middle. Glue on two leaves. Let the glue dry. Fold the heart in half.

Paper clips are great to hold the cards closed shut.
