DIY Petal Burlap Wreath

Here’s what you need to make a petal burlap wreath:

  • 1 yard of burlap
  • pinecones
  • fabric scissors or rotary cutter and mat
  • 1 yard of 2 wired ribbon
  • 1/2 yard jute
  • hot glue gun
  • stapler

How to Make a Petal Burlap Wreath:

1. Cut out of cardboard wreath form.

2. Start cutting the the burlap. We need about 30 4 by 4 inch squares. Start by cutting the burlap into 4 inch wide strips, then cut the strips into 4 inch squares.

3-5. Make a burlap petal. Take one 4 x 4 inch square. Fold it corner to corner. Then take one outside corner and fold it to the bottom corner. Take the other outside corner and fold it to the bottom corner, overlapping the previous corner. Secure with stapler.

6-7. It’s time to start assembling the wreath! Pin the burlap petal to the wreath form.  Start in the very edge of the wreath form.

8. It will look like this after the second row is complete. So pretty already isn’t it?!

9. Make jute bows.

10. Now start placing jute bows around the inside.

11. Sticking pine cones in the center
